CARTIER SANTOS OCATAGON LAPISLAZULI AUTOMATIQUE

The Santos Octagon is a watch manufactured by Cartier. The octagonal bezel with screws is the feature that distinguishes the Octagon from other Santos models, and was probably inspired by Genta’s masterpieces like the Royal Oak and the Nautilus. Long overshadowed by other Cartier models, it is now a watch that has been rediscovered by Cartier enthusiasts for its exceptional and unique design. It was made in many different sizes, material and caliber variations, and the rarest models are highly sought after today.

This Cartier Octagon is an exceptional example, equipped with a beautiful lapis lazuli dial and an automatic movement. The beauty of this watch is enhanced by the case, bezel and white gold bracelet set with precious diamonds. CARTIER CINTREE’ DUAL TIME YELLOW GOLD ROMAN DIAL LIMITED EDITION

Produced since the early 1920s, the Cartier Tank Cintrèe is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful watches ever made. With its large, slender, and arching case, it has always been a timeless watch, coveted by collectors around the world. Over the years, Cartier produced several variations of this iconic model. Some of the most sought after are certainly the limited edition models like this Cintrèe Dual Time. By the term “Dual Time” we mean a Cartier Cintrèe equipped with two separate hand-wound mechanisms that allow it to display two different time zones simultaneously.

Produced in the mid-1990s in a Limited Edition of only 90 pieces, this 18-karat yellow gold Cartier Tank Cintrèe is in exceptional overall condition. The case has deep hallmarks, sharp lines and has probably never been polished, the dial with Roman numerals and blued hands is flawless, both movements work perfectly. Having been kept in a safe for many years, the case also shows very intriguing oxidation that further attests to the superb quality of this timepiece.

Produced in only 90 pieces exclusively for the Paris collection, this Dual Time is a great find for the collector looking to add a vintage Cartier Cintrèe to their personal collection.

ROLEX KING MIDAS WHITE GOLD REF. 9630 FULL SET

At the end of the 1950s, Rolex entrusted Charles Gerald Genta, the very famous Swiss designer of watches and jewelry, with the design of an innovative and important jewel-watch. Taking inspiration from ancient Greece and its mythology, Gérald Genta chose the name of King Midas for his watch. A watch with an extraordinary and very peculiar design, like most of the watches designed by Genta. The first Rolex King Midas was the reference 9630 and remained in production from around 1961 to 1972. Only very few examples of this Rolex watch were made: about 800 in yellow gold, 150 in white gold. Later other Midas references were marketed with similar characteristics, but not the same as the original. The first series King Midas with reference 9630 in white gold are extremely rare timepieces, very few have been produced and even fewer have come to the present day in collectible conditions and full set like this example.

This Rolex King Midas Ref. 9630 is an exceptional example of this rare and sought-after reference. The overall conditions are truly amazing, this King Midas is undoubtedly one of the best preserved specimens to arrive on the market. The case has some light signs of wear but it has never been polished and has all the original shapes and angles, the dial is perfect without defects, the bracelet is intact, has no stretch and comes with all the gold stamps still present. Even the engravings on the caseback, case side and caseback are still present and well defined. The rarity of this watch is further accentuated by the presence of the gorgeous original kit consisting of: outer box, box, guarantee, key opener for the case. A truly unique object for condition and completeness of the set.

The Julies Audemars collection was launched by Audemars Piguet in the early 1980s as a tribute to one of its two founders. Combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary elements, the result is a fine watch collection that resonates with Audemars Piguet aficionados.

With a large case diameter, a well balanced dial design and the chronograph function, reference 25859 was one of the most successful models in the Julies Audemars Collection. Made in various materials, the white gold models like the present one are certainly one of the most attractive for collectors. The exclusivity of the present 25859BC is further enhanced by the beautiful brown changed color dial. A very charming wristwatch to wear and enjoy, a real eye-catcher on the wrist.

This Julies Audemars Chronograph Ref. 25859BC shows some signs of aging on the case and caseback, but has never been polished. The movement is clean and runs flawlessly. Over the years, the dial has changed color to a very cool brown-purple with a hint of yellow. Despite the color change, there are no marks or scratches on the dial.

AUDEMARS PIGUET POCKET WATCH ROYAL OAK STEEL / GOLD
The very first Royal Oak model was launched in 1972, the time-only Reference 5402ST. Not only is it one of the most beautiful watches ever made, but it is also highly recognizable for its peculiar octagonal bezel. Over the years, Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak design has been adapted to numerous models such as chronographs, perpetual calendars and grand complications, varying in size, thickness and material. Not everyone is aware that “Royal Oak” pocket watches were also made in an extremely limited series like this one.

This Royal Oak pocket watch has a steel/gold case, a gray dial with dauphine hands and an ultra-thin caliber, and of course the iconic octagonal bezel. Despite light signs of wear, the watch is in excellent overall condition with an unpolished case and flawless dial. Extremely rare, sought after and made in only a few pieces, this Royal Oak pocket watch would make a great addition to any vintage collection.
