Description:
Wrist alarm wristwatches are watches that allow you to set an alarm to sound at a specific time. These watches have been made by various watchmakers since the early 1900s and have gained great popularity over the years. One of the most famous brands that made this type of watches is certainly Jaeger Le Coultre. The Memovox model, produced since the early 1950s, is undoubtedly one of the best and most successful wrist alarm watches. The Memovox calibers, which succeeded each other over the years, can be divided into three types: Hand-wound, Hammer-wound and Automatic with rotor. The latter are among the most sophisticated, as they combine the perpetual movement of the rotor with a complex alarm mechanism.
This example of JLC Memovox with 18-karat yellow gold case is equipped with an automatic caliber with alarm. The overall condition is simply exceptional. The case has never been polished, the dial is flawless, and the movement is in perfect condition. The case has a slight oxidation patina, which is a testament to the careful treatment this watch has received over the years.
