Description:
GERALD GENTA ASSIMETRIC MOP DIAL BOX AND PAPERS
Gérald Genta is considered one of the most famous modern watchmakers and is known for having created the Royal Oak and the Nautilus. He founded his own brand in 1969 creating masterpieces under the Genta name. In the early 2000s, a new era began for the company when Bvlgari acquired the brand.
This watch is an exceptional and rare asymmetrical Gerald Genta wristwatch. The watchmaking master probably took inspiration from the Cartiers of the 1930s, creating a watch with an oblique case and a dial centered in the upper right side of the case. This asymmetrical GG is further embellished by the mother-of-pearl dial and the finely decorated bezel with pyramid motif. The watch is perfectly preserved, the dial has no cracks, the 18k yellow gold case has never been polished, the manual winding movement works perfectly and the original deployant is still present.
