The name Etrier, meaning “stirrup” in French, reflects its equestrian inspiration. Its distinctive case shape, reminiscent of a stirrup, sets it apart from conventional rectangular or round designs. Some Italian collectors have even renamed it Lucchetto due to its resemblance to a small lock.
