Description:
CARTIER CLOCHE REFERENCE 4338 CPC 100 PIECES
The Cartier Cloche, one of the brand’s rarest and most unique designs, debuted in 1921 with a distinctive bell-shaped case, hence the name “Cloche” (French for bell). This unusual form allows the watch to function as both a wristwatch and a small desk clock when placed on its side, with the dial rotated 90 degrees to position the 12 o’clock at the upper right. Though Cartier rarely re-issued the Cloche model—apart from a few custom or unique pieces in the 1990s—it was revived in 2021 as part of the Cartier Privé collection. This limited edition release featured platinum, yellow gold, and pink gold versions, with only 100 pieces crafted in each metal.
This Cartier Cloche reference 4338 is an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after model from Cartier’s CPC collection. Crafted in platinum as part of a limited edition of just 100 pieces, it features a warm ivory-toned dial that beautifully complements the striking red ruby cabochon crown. This watch is new, never used and comes as a full set with its original box, papers, and limited edition certification.
Circa 2023, dimensions: 37 x 28 mm.
