Description:
BREGUET MARINE REF. 3460 PLATIMUM FULL SET
The Breguet Marine Collection reflects the brand’s history with maritime chronometry and its focus on innovation. Inspired by Abraham-Louis Breguet’s role as the French Navy’s official chronometer-maker in 1815, the collection combines traditional watchmaking with a modern design. The cases, made from materials like rose gold, titanium, or steel, feature guilloché dials and Roman numerals. The watches are powered by self-winding movements and include functions such as chronographs and moonphase displays. The Marine Collection honors Breguet’s maritime legacy while offering practical and stylish options for today’s watch enthusiasts.
The present Breguet reference 3460 is an exceptional and rare timepiece from the Marine collection. The Marine collection was produced in various references, with different materials and complications, and platinum was the most exclusive material for a Breguet Marine, as seen in this example. Very few Breguet Marine watches were made in platinum, and even fewer came with a matching solid platinum bracelet. This particular watch is equipped with a chronograph complication, powered by the Breguet caliber 576, which is based on the Frederique Piguet 1185 movement. The dial is stunning, featuring a beautifully finished guilloché pattern. The overall condition is outstanding: the case remains untouched with its original finish, the bracelet shows no stretch, the dial is mint, and the movement works flawlessly.
Comes with original box, papers, booklets.
