Description:
Founded in 1911, Ebel established itself as one of the most distinctive names in Swiss watchmaking, gaining particular prominence under the leadership of Pierre-Alain Blum from the late 1970s through the 1990s. During the quartz crisis, the manufacture distinguished itself through innovative designs and sophisticated mechanical complications, notably introducing its perpetual calendar in 1984.
The present Ebel Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, reference 8136901, is crafted in yellow gold and powered by the celebrated Zenith El Primero movement. Its 40 mm case features the model’s characteristic bezel screws, while the elegant white dial is fitted with Roman numerals and displays the perpetual calendar indications, including the day, date, month and moon phases. Completed by a black leather strap, this refined chronograph combines technical sophistication with the distinctive design language of Ebel during one of the brand’s most significant periods.
