The Breguet reference 3637, with its 36mm case, epitomizes the classic elegance of Breguet’s design heritage. Launched in 1993, a few years before Swatch Group acquired the brand, it was produced until around 2010, after which it was succeeded by the larger reference 7637, which featured the same movement with some minor differences. This model embodies the quintessential elements of a Breguet Classique, including a small seconds subdial, Roman numerals, and the distinctive Breguet hands. Its engine-turned dial showcases four different patterns: “Clou de Paris” on the main dial, “Damier croisĂ©” on the subdial at 9 o’clock, “Vieux paniers” on the upper half of the subdial at 3 o’clock, and “DĂ©cor flammĂ©” on the lower half of the subdial at 3 o’clock. The small seconds are displayed on the subdial at 9 o’clock, with a 24-hour indication on the subdial at 3 o’clock. The movement, based on a Lemania Ă©bauche, draws inspiration from the traditional Minute Repeaters of La VallĂ©e de Joux, further enhancing the watch’s classical and sophisticated appeal.
